Senior Vice President, Site Reliability Automation Engineer

Overview In this role you will design and implement automation platforms to enable self-healing and auto-remediation. You’ll build backend services and automation tools using Python and Go, and establish Monitoring-as-a-Code for reliable observability. You will manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker, contributing to resilient, scalable systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to advance automation and reliability in a fast-paced financial services environment. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive compensationbenefits and wellbeing programsflexible global resources and toolspaid leaves including volunteer time 401(k) planmedical, dental, vision, and life insurance Responsibilities Design and implement automation platforms for self-healing and auto-remediation Develop backend services and automation tools in Python and GoBuild and maintain monitoring using Monitoring-as-a-Code practices Manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker Key requirements 8-10 years of related experience; securities/financial services experience a plus 8+ years in software engineering including Dev Ops or Site Reliability Engineering Strong programming in Python or GoDeep understanding of Linux systems and distributed architectures Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including MS Azure and Private Cloud Experience defining and maintaining SLOs and error budgets Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration Knowledge of databases and messaging systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS)Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams Python GoLinux Kubernetes Docker Monitoring-as-a-Code
