Technical Training & Curriculum Specialist

Overview In this role you will serve as the Technical Training SME for DoD mission systems, developing training plans, materials, and hands-on labs to enable both internal engineers and Government customers to operate and sustain complex software and hardware solutions. You will collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and Government stakeholders to keep content current with system capabilities and changes. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve instructor-led and practical training, while producing guides and documentation. Occasional travel and active DoD clearance with TS/SCI eligibility are required. This position supports Cubic Defense’s mission by empowering users to Responsibilities Serve as the program’s Technical Training SME for software applications, system administration, and procedures Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive training plan for internal staff and Government customers Create instructor-led training, hands-on labs, student guides, quick references, presentations, and e-learning materials Deliver training to engineers, system administrators, operators, FSRs, and Government personnel Develop training curricula for new software releases and engineering changes Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure alignment with current capabilities and procedures Maintain training documentation, lesson plans, schedules, and attendance/training metrics Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend curriculum improvements Support on-site deployments with operator and administrator training Assist with development of knowledge articles, SOPs, and technical documentation Provide technical demonstrations and briefings to Government customers and leadership Support proposal efforts with training approaches, schedules, and input Key requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or related technical discipline Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and delivering technical training for enterprise software or information systems Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance Proven experience creating training plans, curricula, and instructional materials Experience training technical personnel on enterprise software and system administration Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills Strong written communication for professional training documentation Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, Teams)Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Willingness to travel 20–30% domestically and internationally Outstanding presentation and communication skills Strong organizational and project management abilities Professional demeanor and executive presence Enterprise software training experience Knowledge of system administration and operations training Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience
