Senior Proposal Manager

Overview In this role you will lead cross-functional teams to manage and win complex, high-value federal proposals. You’ll collaborate with business development, capture, solution architects, and SMEs to craft compliant, compelling content for Defense, Space, Civilian, Health, and Logistics agencies. You will guide the proposal process, mentor the team, and oversee reviews, pricing coordination, and production. This position offers remote work with travel primarily in the DC area and across the US, a path to impactful, large-scale wins. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive salaryexcellent employee benefitsbonus for proposal wins Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams for complex opportunities Collaborate with BD, capture, solution architects, technical SMEs, operations, and functional professionals to plan and manage compliant proposal content Actively participate in solution development sessions Lead and mentor proposal team to plan and organize content for easy evaluation and scoring Chair color reviews, adjudicate reviewer recommendations, coordinate with pricing and contracts, oversee production activities Key requirements Communicate and collaborate with senior leaders, capture managers, and proposal support teams Ownership mentality and accountability for Proposal Management Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience 8+ years of experience as a Proposal Manager for federal government proposals Strong communication and strategic thinking skills Track record of managing and winning large, complex proposals Track record of managing and winning HTRO / scorecard proposals Attention to detail Ability to coach writers and manage proposal content Understanding of Share Point, Shipley Proposal Process, and industry best practices Ability to travel for proposal development and solutioning working sessions Leadership Strategic thinking Attention to detail Share Point Shipley Proposal Process Industry best practices
