Sr. Engineer, Machine Learning

Overview In this role you will own the end-to-end ML lifecycle to turn data into impactful models used across Poshmark’s platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to productionize models and ensure robust, scalable ML services. You’ll write efficient production-grade code and evolve solutions with new tech while staying current with data science advances. Responsibilities Manage the ML lifecycle from data collection to deployment and monitoring Collaborate with DS, QA, Infra and other engineering teams to productionize ML models Write and optimize production-ready code ensuring robustness and scalability of ML services Maintain and evolve current ML solutions with new technologies Communicate complex concepts clearly through writing, speaking, and presentations Stay updated with advances in data science and ML Key requirements 4+ years of ML experience at large scale Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field Strong CS fundamentals with ability to design algorithms Solid understanding of ML fundamentals: regression, classification, trees, neural networks, sequence models Experience with at least one ML model such as LLMs, GNN, deep learning, logistic regression, gradient boosting Excellent understanding of ML lifecycle Good understanding of system architecture and big data technologies like streaming and data pipelines Experience with Python, SQL, Java or Scala Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills Ability to convey complex concepts clearly Cross-functional collaborationML fundamentals: regression, classification, tree-based methods, neural networks, sequence models Experience with LLMs, GNNs, deep learning, logistic regression, gradient boosting Python, SQL, Java or Scala
