Mid-Level Juniper Network Engineer-Onsite No 3rd PARTIES or Sponsorships Location Chicago, IL 60622 Great Company Unlimited Growth*6 Months-Contract to Hire*Very Specific Skill Set-Strong Mid-Level Engineer, Service Desk, NOC,- Ticketing System*MUST be very professional and have great communication skills*Some healthcare would be a huge plus Juniper Network Engineer Role Core requirement: Juniper-proficient network engineer Juniper switching, routing, VLANs, Mist Edge, Junos OSFirewalls: Juniper SRX1400 and similar SRX models Day-to-day work: ticket-based via Service Desk+, Breakfix, NOC, Troubleshoot/maintain firewalls, wireless APs (Mist), VLANs, WAN/LAN, VPNEHR bandwidth monitoring (radiology), Juniper hardware replication Range from cable replacement to full factory-level work Hospital network familiarity preferred but not required On-prem only, no remote Hours: 8-hour shift within 7 AM-5:30 PM window On-call rotation once every 5 weeks, 5:30 PM-7 AM + weekends; emergency all-hands possible Contractor not formally required for on-call but should be aware it becomes a requirement upon hire
