Software Engineer II

Overview As part of the Neuroscience portfolio group, you design, implement, test, and document software for next‑generation neuromodulation products. You work with diverse, cross‑site teams to deliver reliable cloud‑based web applications and verified software in an Agile environment. Your role emphasizes high‑quality engineering processes, test automation support, and timely delivery of milestones. You will contribute to impactful products that improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Responsibilities Design, build, and test web applications in a cloud infrastructure as a service environment Design, develop, and verify software in an agile environment Collaborate with agile teams across multiple sites to ensure coverage and consistency Create and document all software engineering processes for developed products Support the test automation strategy and implementation Meet project milestones and deliverables as directed by leadership Provide concise, timely reports and status updates on development and testing activities Participate in continuous process improvement activities Stay current with technical and industry trends in software design and development Key requirements Experience in development and verification of software products within an Agile setting Strong coding skills in one or more of Java, Java Script, or Kotlin Solid debugging ability and attention to detail Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (up to 6 considered)Bachelor degree (or higher) required or implied by the stated minimums Team collaboration Clear communication Attention to detail Java Java Script Kotlin
