Director, Commercial Learning and Development

Overview In this role, you will shape Sarepta’s commercial learning strategy and lead the creation of impactful training programs. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to elevate scientific education across the organization and ensure materials meet promotional standards. You’ll drive innovative, efficient training delivery and measure value and impact, enabling teams to excel in a rapidly evolving field. Responsibilities Develop and implement a long-term learning vision for Sarepta’s commercial capabilities Identify business needs and deliver training solutions across the organization Create and execute a communication strategy for educational resources and training support Innovate training delivery methods to improve efficiency and impact Enhance virtual HCP and customer engagement through targeted training strategies Plan and execute national and regional training meetings with senior leadership Establish metrics to demonstrate value and impact of training initiatives Ensure training materials comply with the promotional review process (SOP) and MLR submissions Key requirements 10+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech company 3–5+ years as a commercial trainer in pharma/biotech Experience developing training programs for rare disease commercial teams PharmD/PhD preferred; or demonstrated ability to grasp complex gene therapy concepts Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills Excellent organizational, attention to detail, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities Effective verbal and written communication; fast-paced and results-oriented Ability to work with urgency and deliver on commitments Program ownership and ability to guide and provide feedback to teams Proven ability to operate across all levels of the organizationstrong interpersonal skillscross-functional collaborationattention to detailfamiliarity with promotional review processMLR software systemsconsultative selling models
