Overview As a Software Engineer on the WM Cloud Enablement Platform team, you will help enable public cloud use across Goldman Sachs by designing and delivering a secure, scalable cloud platform. You’ll work within a cross-functional, Dev Ops–oriented team to modernize services with cloud-native principles, focusing on safety, security, and compliance. Your work directly accelerates engineers’ ability to deploy and manage workloads in cloud environments. This role offers impact through shaping platform capabilities and enabling fast, reliable innovation. Responsibilities Build connectivity products and migrate workloads to the public cloud Apply design principles and work with AWS or OCI to architect multi-tier, highly available, secure cloud solutions Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to understand challenges and align with business goals Manage full lifecycle of software components from requirements to deployment and end-of-life Promote best practices for public cloud development and infrastructure management Integrate on-premises systems with public cloud providers for consistent, secure patterns Communicate with product leads and stakeholders to drive engineering culture and customer-centric outcomes Operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and prioritize tasks effectively Key requirements 10+ years of professional experience 5+ years of familiarity with AWS services Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, AWS Code Pipeline)Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation)Experience with Ansible for configuration management Scripting in Python or Bash; Java Script/Type Script/Node Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls)Relational and NoSQL databases; experience with transactional systems Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; monitoring tools (Cloud Watch, ELK)Knowledge of cloud security, architecture governance, and agile practices Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders Collaborative mindset Strong communication skills Proactive, self-driven learningAWS (and OCI familiarity)Terraform or Cloud Formation Ansible
