DevOps Engineer (FortiAppSec)

Overview In this Dev Ops role, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure to support development, product, and QA teams. You will enhance CI/CD pipelines and monitoring practices, enabling reliable deployments and fast incident response. The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines to drive operational excellence and secure, cost-efficient systems. You will work with modern cloud platforms and IaC to shape resilient infrastructure that scales with Fortinet’s global reach. Compensation / Benefitsmedical insurancedental insurancevision insurancelife and disability insurance 401(k)equity program Responsibilities Architect, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCPBuild and optimize CI/CD pipelines for code deployment, testing, and delivery Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana) for high availability Develop automation scripts using Python/Bash to reduce manual toil Collaborate with development, QA, and IT to embed Dev Ops best practices Implement infrastructure security practices, including IAM, patching, and vulnerability assessments Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage for cost efficiency Document systems, processes, and tools Key requirements 2-5 years in Dev Ops, SRE, or related role Hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP; resource provisioning and management Proficiency with Jenkins, Git Lab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent IaC experience with Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar Docker and Kubernetes deployment, scaling, monitoring Scripting in Python, Bash, or GoMonitoring/logging with Prometheus, ELK Stack Git advanced knowledge and branching strategies Linux/Unix systems administration and networking fundamentals Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Excellent communication and collaboration Proactive and growth-minded Prometheus Grafana Jenkins
