Network Engineer

Overview In this role you will support the Sponsor’s hybrid-cloud mission infrastructure, focusing on network engineering and digital forensics. You will help sustain accreditation, design and deploy network components, and provide 24/7 field support across global locations. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, document architectures, and guide virtualization and server infrastructure. This role offers hands-on impact in secure, enterprise-grade IT environments and opportunities to shape how critical services are delivered. Responsibilities Monitor and sustain Sponsor IT systems for accreditation Deploy and maintain network systems; troubleshoot and restore performance Gather performance metrics and flag threshold breaches Maintain up-to-date network topology drawings and designs Plan configurations for new integrations and assess impact on performance Provide end-to-end support of field network and forensic capabilities Prepare technical proposals for engineering reviews Provide SOPs and documentation for field users and programs Support Windows, Linux servers, storage, and virtualization environments Perform life cycle activities across design, test, deploy, and maintain teams Key requirements Demonstrated experience analyzing existing systems and identifying corrective actions Experience building, maintaining and troubleshooting gold image hard drives Experience coordinating security testing Experience creating network topology diagrams Cisco routing and switching expertise Experience implementing L2/L3 VPN across MPLSExperience with Aspera Enterprise Server and Aspera P2PExperience with VMware vCenter and NSX-TExperience with Linux servers and virtualization Experience with vulnerability scanning tools Cisco routing and switchingL2/L3 VPN across MPLSAspera Enterprise Server and Aspera P2PVMware vCenter and NSX-THypervisor deployments Linux server and virtualization engineering
