Speech Language Pathologist

KVC Academy Kansas City Location: Kansas City, MO (On-site) Pay: $65,000-$81,000 annually Job Type: Full-time Job Summary We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide essential speech and language therapy services to children and teens with diverse needs, working within the special education environment. Responsibilities:Assess, diagnose, and provide targeted therapy to children and teenagers with communication and language disorders. Collaborate with educators, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement customized therapy plans. Conduct therapy sessions that are tailored to the unique goals and requirements of each child or teen. Monitor and document client progress and make adjustments to therapy plans as needed. Education & Licensure Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. State licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).Preferred Experience Passion for working with children and teenagers in special education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help children and teens achieve their communication goals. Ability to create and manage a flexible schedule to meet your work-life balance preferences.
