Senior Software Engineer, Agentic Platforms

Overview Join the senior engineering team building XPENG’s internal AI platform. You will design and operate production-grade services that power engineers building software, with a focus on reliability, observability, and automation. You’ll advance the agentic layer and semantic data foundations that connect decisions to systems and data. You collaborate with customers to onboard them, gather feedback, and drive platform adoption. This role offers an opportunity to shape scalable, safe AI-enabled tooling for intelligent mobility. Compensation / Benefits Competitive compensationbonusequitybenefitssnacks and lunchesfun activities Responsibilities Design, build, and operate production-grade platform services and infrastructure with reliability, observability, and performance Automate manual workflows via self-service tooling on the platform Develop the agentic layer (agent lifecycle, tool integrations, sandboxed execution, multi-agent workflows)Model and maintain the semantic data layer that represents systems, workflows, and decision data Create safe action execution paths with governance and end-to-end lineage Own end-to-end platform capability designs from requirements to rollout Lead technical onboarding with customers and translate feedback into roadmap priorities Establish best practices for agent evaluation, observability, and safety guardrails Key requirements Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 5+ years building and operating production distributed systems Proficiency in Python and Type Script; solid understanding of databases, message queues, caching, and API design Track record of turning manual processes into tools, pipelines, or self-service systems Hands-on experience with modern AI coding tooling and LLM APIs, including tool use/function calling Experience with agentic systems or task orchestration platforms (workflow engines, multi-agent frameworks, MCP servers)Strong cross-team communication skillscross-functional collaborationcustomer-facing communicationproblem-solving mindset Python Type Scriptdatabases
