AI Software Engineer Team Lead

Overview In this role you will design and deploy scalable AI solutions within Banesco USA’s IT landscape, using Gemini Enterprise and Google Cloud to modernize legacy workflows. You will build autonomous agents and end-to-end automation pipelines that enhance data-driven decision making across the bank. You will collaborate across business units to embed AI capabilities into enterprise applications and BI systems, with a focus on reliability, governance, and security. Compensation / Benefits Competitive base salary Paid time off Hybrid schedule 401k with employer match Tuition reimbursement Medical, Dental, Vision Responsibilities Design and architect autonomous agents in Gemini Enterprise to handle specific business tasks reliably Orchestrate integrations using Gemini agents to replace legacy workflows and reinvent processes Develop scalable AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, Big Query ML, AutoML) for banking challenges Create predictive models and forecasting tools to improve data-driven decision making Integrate Generative AI/ML into enterprise apps and BI systems to boost user experience and efficiency Collaborate with business units to identify processes suitable for intelligent automation Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data pipelines in GCP to support model training and automated inference Maintain deployed models/agents using MLOps, monitor performance and data drift Mentor teams on AI capabilities and promote enterprise data-driven culture Ensure compliance with policies, risk management, and regulatory guidelines; implement security and data governance in GCP and Gemini Key requirements Bachelor in Computer Science Minimum five (5) years in software development and data science with predictive modeling Minimum three (3) years banking/financial services exposure; familiarity with core banking systems (e.g., Jack Henry) and regulations Proven experience deploying AI/ML on Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, Big Query)Experience building Agent Space solutions in Gemini Enterprise and linking agents into autonomous workflows Strong Python (Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn) and R skills; SQL proficiency; Big Query; Oracle/AS400 experience Creative problem-solving Strong communication Problem-solving Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, Big Query, AutoML, Cloud Functions)Gemini Enterprise (Agent Space) architecture Tensor Flow
