Software Development Platform Administration/Architect

Overview As Software Development Platform Architect & Administrator, you will govern and optimize AVEVA’s development platform across Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub. You enable secure, scalable CI/CD and tooling integrations to accelerate software delivery. You’ll partner with security and engineering teams to enforce governance, identity controls, and best practices that support enterprise-grade development. This role blends platform design, automation, and continuous improvement to empower developers at scale. Compensation / Benefitsflexible work hoursPTO 20–25 daysvolunteering daysparential leavewell-being supportmedical/dental/vision/401K Responsibilities Administer and govern Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub organizations, projects, repos, pipelines, permissions, and policies Manage platform governance including branch protections, environment controls, and repository standards Onboard, configure, and lifecycle-manage development tools, integrations, and automation services Manage service principals, identities, and application registrations used in CI/CD and automation Implement token lifecycle and secure authentication/authorization patterns (RBAC, least privilege, conditional access)Monitor identity usage, detect anomalies, and coordinate with security teams for compliance Support SDLC/CI/CD enablement and optimize pipelines across Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Actions Implement security tooling, assess AI-assisted development tools, enforce data protection, logging, and audit requirements Document standards and platform configurations; contribute to architecture evolution and tooling evaluation Promote standardized, secure, and efficient CI/CD practices across teams Key requirements Hands-on experience administering Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub in an enterprise environment Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, pipelines, and automation workflows Experience managing service principals, tokens, and identity-based automationIAM principles including RBAC, least privilege, credential hygiene Troubleshooting platform, pipeline, identity, integration issues, and REST APIsExperience with security tooling such as code scanning, dependency management, or secrets detection Strong communication and collaborative mindset Scripting (Power Shell, Bash, Python) for automation and identity governance Azure CLI to manage service principals, role assignments, and identity policiesstrong communicationcollaborative mindsetattention to security and governance Azure Dev Ops administration Git Hub administration Git Hub Actions
