Overview In this Producer & Editor role, you will support the affiliate news team by editing and distributing content across Univision markets in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. You’ll coordinate daily and breaking news coverage with local and network teams, ensuring timely, accurate delivery to multiple platforms. This is a fast-paced, cross-market role that shapes how news reaches Spanish- and English-speaking audiences. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to keep content flowing efficiently and maintain newsroom standards. Compensation / BenefitsPTOtuition reimbursementwellness programs 401 Klife insurancemedical/dental/vision coverage Responsibilities Edit video and ingest feeds to move content across multiple news operations and Univision Network News Coordinate daily stories and breaking news with Assignment Managers, Executive Producers, and Producers at local stations nationwide Collaborate with Network News and Vix Noticias 24/7 to align coverage Gather information on developing stories and handle inquiries from local and network teams Collaborate with local stations to edit, caption, and upload content to multiple digital platforms Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor Key requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Broadcast Journalism/Mass Communications Fully bilingual Spanish/English, both written and spoken Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during natural disasters Knowledge of iNews, video editing (Avid, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut), and file sharing systems Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and other non-editing business applications Familiar with video and wire services Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Willing to work from office in Miami Employment/education will be verified Willing to submit to a background investigation Authorized to work in the United States full-time Organizational excellence Strong communication Stress tolerancei News Avid Adobe Premiere
