Alternatives Product Team Marketing Content Manager and RFP Writer, AVP

Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end development of competitive proposals and marketing materials for State Street’s Alternatives business. You’ll combine writing, design, and project management to produce client-ready submissions that differentiate the firm in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work across Sales, Product, Legal, and Operations to align messaging with client objectives and branding. The position emphasizes innovative design, visual storytelling, and consistency across Power Point, Word, Excel, and Adobe tools, with opportunities to accelerate through AI-enabled drafting and design automation. Compensation / Benefits 401K with company matchcomprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision)paid time off including vacation and sick leaveshort-term disability and other coverages Employee Assistance Programincentive compensation eligibility Responsibilities Own full lifecycle of RFP, RFI, and DDQ responses from intake through submission Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Technology, Legal, and Operations Manage timelines, deliverables, and quality to ensure on-time submissions Drive response strategy, positioning, and differentiation aligned to client objectives Develop clear, concise proposal content tailored to client requirements Translate complex business and investment concepts into client-facing narratives Maintain and evolve content libraries, templates, and reusable materials Enhance proposals with charts, diagrams, and structured visual storytelling Ensure consistency in tone, branding, and formatting across documents Apply structured project management to multiple concurrent proposals Design and execute Power Point pitch books and client presentations Update client templates to ensure consistency and formatting Create branded visuals: charts, graphs, infographics, icons Produce fully functional client branded Power Point templates Apply design principles to create visually appealing and effective presentations Perform photo retouching and manipulation Create or vectorize logos; recreate detailed maps (e.g., shale, oil, pipelines)Design print collateral (invitations, signage, banners)Leverage AI tools and prompt engineering to accelerate drafting and quality Design automation workflows to improve efficiency and content reuse Key requirements 5+ years as an RFP Writer or similar role Expert knowledge of Power Point, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro Proven experience in proposal management, RFP writing, or bid management Experience with proposal platforms and content management tools Strong project management skills for complex initiatives Exceptional writing and editing expertise Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator Experience designing infographics, financial charts, tables, and graphs Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Creative thinker with strong layout and branding sense Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities Research skills and quick learning aptitudestrong written and editing abilitiesteam collaboration and cross-functional coordinationcreative storytelling and visual communication Microsoft Power Point Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel
