Job Description We are seeking a Project Management Contractor to join our Energy Operational Excellence team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in leading complex cross-functional initiatives, structuring ambiguous work, and creating executive-ready communications and a proven ability to drive execution, establish governance, and deliver results with limited oversight. Responsibilities:Develop and manage project plans, milestones, action trackers, risks, decisions, and status updates. Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, facilitate meetings, and drive follow-up on commitments. Identify risks, dependencies, and barriers, recommend solutions, and escalate when appropriate. Create concise, executive-ready presentations, meeting materials, and communications. Support leadership discussions by synthesizing information, clarifying decisions, and tracking actions. Establish practical governance, reporting, and work-management tools that improve transparency and accountability. Independently manage assigned deliverables from planning through completion. Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience leading or supporting complex, cross-functional projects or operational-improvement initiatives. Strategic thinking with ability to translate ambiguous objectives into practical plans and deliverables. Ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups. Strong Power Point skills and demonstrated written and presentation-development capabilities. Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail. Proven ability to work independently, prioritize, and deliver with limited oversight. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Power Point, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Preferred Skills:Background in operational excellence, continuous improvement, transformation, strategy, or change management. Experience in the energy industry or another complex operational environment. Familiarity with project-management tools and practices such as workplans, RAID logs, stakeholder maps, and decision logs. PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar certification is a plus, not required.
