Lead Program Manager (Business Change), Change Management

Overview In this role you lead change management for large gas operations programs across NY and MA, ensuring new systems, processes and behaviors are adopted and sustained. You will work with frontline staff, supervisors and leaders to assess readiness, identify risks, and implement practical interventions that embed new ways of working. You will influence stakeholders, coach leaders, and deliver tools to drive measurable adoption and performance. This role sits at the intersection of transformation and operations, shaping how teams operate at scale and contributing to the company’s sustainable energy goals. Responsibilities Develop change management plans for transformational and productivity initiatives across NY and MA Gas Assess how changes affect roles, workflows and routines and identify adoption risks Translate objectives into required behaviors, leadership practices, and operating routines Conduct change readiness and impact analyses to inform planning Maintain on-site presence to understand frontline adoption and tailor approaches Coach leaders and project teams on guiding teams through change and addressing resistance Support stakeholder engagement, communications and leadership alignment Create practical change tools (readiness assessments, job aids, guides, reinforcement plans)Track adoption and sustainability metrics to identify risks and corrective actions Key requirements Bachelor degree with 8+ years in organizational change, transformation, or related field in matrix organizations Experience with frontline, supervisory and operational teams Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, coaching and communication skills Ability to use data and reporting to assess adoption and guide actions Experience creating adoption materials (training resources, job aids, leader toolkits)Willingness to travel regularly and maintain on-site presence across NY and MAStakeholder management Communication Coaching Change management methodologies (Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter)Change measurement dashboards and scorecards Impact analyses and readiness assessments
