UI/UX Developer

Overview As a UI/UX Developer at MI Technical Solutions, you will craft user-facing interfaces that enable effective and intuitive experiences. You will work with engineers and product managers to translate requirements into practical designs, wireframes, and prototypes. Your work will be validated through usability testing and alignment with design standards to ensure cross-browser accessibility. This role supports the company’s mission to deliver results-oriented, user-centric technical solutions for defense-related needs. Responsibilities Analyze user requirements and behavior to design user-friendly interfaces Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process Design graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets Develop UI mockups and prototypes showing how sites or applications function and look Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to implement designs Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to improve design Stay up to date with design tools and industry developments Ensure design elements work across various browsers and screen settings Adhere to typography and graphic design style standards Key requirements DoD security clearance maintenance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field 3+ years of experience in user-facing design and development Experience with React.js, CSS, and Power Platform interfaces Ability to work independently and autonomously Excellent analytical and communication skills Experience using UI wireframe/mockup tools such as Figma and Balsamiq Knowledge of Google Material Design and Web Content Accessibility Guidelinesanalytical thinkingstrong communicationindependence/autonomy React.jsCSSPower Platform
