Director, Strategic Initiatives

Overview In this role you lead high-impact, cross-functional strategic programs at Pro Shares, partnering with senior leaders across product, distribution, marketing, and operations to drive growth and remove barriers. You will guide ambiguous challenges to actionable execution plans, manage scope and risk in fast-moving environments, and ensure transparent reporting to executives. You’ll apply adaptive, consulting-inspired frameworks to deliver front-office and distribution initiatives that accelerate the firm’s strategic growth in ETFs and related products. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive pay and discretionary bonuspaid time offhealth care benefits (medical, dental & vision)life insurance and disability coverage 401(k) with matchingwellness programs and health accounts Responsibilities Lead end-to-end execution of non-technology business initiatives (go-to-market rollouts, organizational design, front-office process improvements, distribution optimization)Act as trusted advisor to senior leadership and cross-functional teams Clarify challenges, define objectives, and create actionable execution plans from inception to completion Manage scope, timeline, and risk while maintaining forward momentum Communicate program status and risk mitigation to stakeholders and steering committees Apply agile principles and pragmatic project management tools to fit initiative size and pace Proactively address roadblocks and build consensus to enable progress Leverage consulting frameworks (strategy development, process redesign, operating model creation, vendor evaluations, go-to-market planning)Promote ownership and deliver results with executive accountability and high standards Foster a culture of excellence through transparency and collaboration across initiatives Key requirements Bachelor’s degree; MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred 10-12+ years in management consulting, business transformation, or enterprise program management in asset management or financial services Proven success leading large, cross-functional programs with front-office, product, investment, or distribution exposure Familiarity with ETFs, mutual funds, or other investment vehicles (preferred)Experience working with C-suite and influencing senior stakeholders across departments Change management and program/project management expertise Strong analytical and strategic thinking with high business judgment Self-starter, capable of thriving in ambiguity and fast-paced settings Structured problem solving and execution frameworks Executive-level communication skillsstrong communicationstakeholder managementadaptabilityagile methodologiesprogram/project managementstakeholder alignment
