Project Manager - Operations

Overview In this role, you will lead operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and overall performance. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders to identify gaps and guide improvement efforts, delivering measurable results. You’ll apply structured problem-solving and analytics to drive sustainable change and accountability. This long-term contract position is based in Westborough, MA and offers opportunities to shape performance outcomes at scale. Responsibilities Lead operational improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, quality, and business performance Evaluate workflows and outcomes to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for sustainable improvement Partner with leadership and functional teams to define priorities and align objectives Develop and implement performance improvement plans addressing root causes Facilitate team discussions and decision-making to keep projects on track Monitor project milestones and key metrics, providing updates and recommendations Apply performance analysis methods to assess results and adjust strategies Support change efforts by helping teams adopt improved processes and maintain accountability for outcomes Key requirements Experience in operational excellence or performance improvement Strong judgment and analytical thinking Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements Good stakeholder management and communication skills Cross-functional collaboration Problem-solving Strategic thinking Performance analysis methods Root cause analysis Metrics tracking and data-driven decision making
