Network Engineer- Tier 3

Overview In this role you will design, deploy and sustain complex enterprise networks for an Intelligence Community customer. You’ll lead high-level network engineering activities, mentor junior engineers, and ensure secure, resilient CAN/LAN/WAN operations. You’ll analyze performance, implement improvements, and drive transition plans for migrations. Compensation / Benefitshealthcarewellnessretirement benefitscontinuing educationtime off benefitsflexible time off Responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents and problems Provide escalation support and status communications to management and customer Support dispatch and hardware issue resolution across network systems Isolate, diagnose, and resolve hardware/software network problems Configure and maintain network components; implement OS enhancements for reliability Integrate new technologies and manage transitions/migrations of services Maintain network configuration and procedural documentation for compliance Work independently and in cross-functional teams; mentor junior staff Assist Lead Services Engineers and perform tasks of lower-level technicians Apply advanced concepts to daily activities and support transition planning Key requirements 10+ years of related work experienceTS/SCI with polygraph Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS)Enterprise-level network equipment experience (Cisco, Juniper)Strong understanding of network security principles Proficiency with network monitoring and analysis tools Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Strong leadership abilities Willingness to travel up to 10%strong communicationleadershipproblem-solvingTCP/IPOSPFBGP
