Overview
In this role, you will lead strategic, enterprise-level client development to drive growth across the portfolio. You will own executive-level client relationships, design and execute win-win strategies, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver strong financial and operational results. You will partner with senior stakeholders to align Acosta’s capabilities with client challenges, leveraging data-driven insights to increase revenue and market share. This role offers high-impact leadership in a fast-paced, client-centric environment with a focus on strategic growth and profitability.
Responsibilities Client Relationship Ownership: serve as the primary executive contact for designated clients, accountable for profitability and performance outcomes. Strategic Planning & Execution: design and manage client strategies aligned with operational priorities. Annual Business Planning: develop and deploy the client’s annual plan to drive revenue growth. Executive Engagement: elevate discussions with senior client executives and manage the Acosta value equation. Team Leadership & Development: lead and develop team members on client initiatives and financial management. Performance Management: monitor monthly/quarterly performance, forecasts, deductions, and retailer issues; lead QBRs. Financial Oversight: manage revenue, budgets, and P&L; renegotiate contracts and optimize trade investments. Analytics & Insights: apply Acosta Group tools to deliver data-driven solutions and improve outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions. Market Engagement: coordinate client meetings and market visits to ensure alignment and execution.
Key requirements Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years Costco experience highly preferred 4+ years of leadership experience Proven success in managing national client relationships Experience leading contract renegotiations and managing financial performance Strong analytical skills with financial data and budgets Ability to prioritize multiple demands and influence teams Excellent interpersonal and written communication, including negotiation Proficiency in Microsoft Office and syndicated data platforms Experience in customer service or supply-side operations is a plus Strong writing skills and attention to detail Manufacturer or customer background is optional but beneficialassertivecreativecollaborative Microsoft Officesyndicated data platforms Acosta IQ
