Senior Network and Cloud Engineer

Overview In this role you will design, implement and optimize cloud and network infrastructure to enable scalable, secure, and efficient services. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, while driving automation and standardization. You’ll own cloud-side delivery for DX, Transit Gateway, and Cloud WAN initiatives, shaping our digital transformation. Compensation / Benefits Salary range $104,000–$171,600 Market-competitive base salary with yearly bonus potential Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance 401(k) with company match (up to 4%)Pension plan Wellness programs and education benefits Responsibilities Design, configure and troubleshoot AWS Transit Gateway attachments, route tables and peering connections across multi-region deployments Collaborate with the Core Network team on DX implementations, circuit provisioning, configuration changes, and fault resolution Deliver computing and network infrastructure services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and support hybrid connectivity solutions Develop automation aligned to the roadmap using Python, Shell/Power scripting, Groovy, Ansible, Cloud Formation and Terraform Apply deep networking fundamentals (BGP, TCP/IP, OSI) and manage VIFs, route propagation, and DNS architectures across on-prem and cloud Configure and manage Route 53 Resolver endpoints and DNS policies for seamless name resolution across VPCs and data centers Collaborate with product owners and tech leads to define technical designs and deliver robust solutions with business impact Develop corporate platform standards based on cost, capability and capacity requirements and document solutions for adoption Stay abreast of emerging technologies and coach peers to embed learning and innovation Address complex problems requiring in-depth analysis of various factors Proficiency with Dev Ops practices and SDLC understanding, plus testing and automation focus Key requirements Proficiency with AWS networking services: Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, Direct Connect, VPC routing Hands-on experience with BGP, route policies, AS paths, and multi-region/multi-account networks Programming experience in Python, Shell, Groovy or similar; scripting and automation Experience with Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible Familiarity with Linux/Unix; strong problem-solving and collaboration skills Experience with hybrid connectivity (on-prem to cloud) and DNS design (Route 53 Resolver)Knowledge of SDLC and security/compliance requirements Bonus: Azure or GCP networking services experience; cloud or network certifications Strong communication and collaboration Problem solving and critical thinking Continuous learning mindsetAWS Transit GatewayAWS Cloud WANDirect Connect
