Senior Data Center & Cloud Networking Engineer (Technology Specialist III) - Digital and Technology Partners - Network Services - Hybrid/Onsite

Overview In this role you will design, implement, and support Mount Sinai’s Enterprise Campus and Cloud networks to ensure stability, reliability, and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to advance networking across on-site and cloud environments, shaping our healthcare IT infrastructure. You will tackle complex network challenges and contribute to problem management and ongoing technology evolution. Responsibilities Design, implement, and support Enterprise Campus, Data Center, and Cloud networks Maintain stability and performance of the network environment Configure and work with switch/routing protocols (VXLAN, Multicast, BGP, EIGRP, Spanning Tree) and hardware (Catalyst, Nexus, Fabric Extenders)Create professional diagrams and documentation for network designs Assist in escalation resolution and participate in problem management Cross-train IT staff in wireless technology Research new networking technologies and processes to improve the environment Key requirements 8+ years of experience as an Enterprise Network Engineer; 12+ years of related experience preferred Healthcare technology experience preferred Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting Enterprise and Cloud networks Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network issues Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teamsCCNP or equivalent certification preferred Bachelor degree; Masters preferred Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends Effective communication Collaboration Continuous learningBGPEIGRPSpanning Tree
