Overview
As Director of Retail Training, you will shape and execute learning strategies for Moncler's Americas stores, linking training to commercial results and brand standards. You’ll lead Field Training Managers, develop regional content, and partner with Retail, HR, and Global Training to drive selling excellence, client experience, and operational consistency. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on coaching on the sales floor, across a dynamic luxury retail network.

Responsibilities Define and execute the Americas retail training strategy aligned to commercial goals and brand standards Lead and develop Field Training Managers; provide direction to in-store Trainers and Training Majors Identify capability gaps with Retail leadership; translate priorities into actionable learning plans Serve as regional partner to Global Training; adapt global programs for the Americas Oversee training for an assigned store portfolio; coach on-floor interactions and selling behaviors Design and continuously improve learning programs for clienteling, selling, leadership, and operations Create annual learning roadmaps and calendars balancing global priorities with regional needs Implement train-the-trainer models to scale capabilities across the network Partner with HR on talent development, succession, and organizational initiatives Manage training budget, vendors, and regional training calendar Lead training for new store openings, renovations, product launches, and other initiatives Ensure training is embedded in daily routines and leadership practices Provide visibility on training activity, impact, and opportunities to Retail Leadership
Key requirements 8–10+ years in retail training, L&D, or retail leadership 3–5+ years leading teams in multi-unit or field-based environments Luxury retail experience strongly preferred Proven ability to design and deliver learning programs in a multi-store setting Ability to coach retail leaders and frontline teams to improve business performance Experience managing multiple priorities across geographically dispersed locations Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills; excellent communication Understanding of adult learning principles and practical learning design Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of selling behaviors, client experience, and leadership impact Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems Willingness to travel up to 30% across the Americas Bachelor in Business, Education, or Organizational Development; equivalent experience considered Client-centric mindsetcollaborative and adaptablestrong communication and influencing abilitiesability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution Microsoft Office Suite Learning Management Systems
