AI/ML Development Lead

Overview As AI/ML Dev Lead, you will drive end-to-end model deployment and provide technical leadership for ML infrastructure and data engineering initiatives. You combine hands-on production deployment with team mentoring in a GCP environment. You will shape deployment pipelines and guide engineers to deliver scalable ML solutions. This role offers impact across data pipelines, infrastructure, and cross-functional collaboration, shaping how ML products scale in our organization. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end model deployment and ensure production readiness of ML solutions Provide technical leadership on ML infrastructure and data engineering initiatives Mentor and guide engineers; oversee a small team in a dev-lead capacity Develop and manage deployment workflows and pipelines for ML models Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ML initiatives with business goals Utilize GCP stack (Vertex AI, Big Query, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage) in production environments Key requirements Strong Python programming Production experience with Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, Big Query, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage)Familiarity with Kubernetes/GKE and container orchestration Experience with end-to-end model deployment, feature engineering, data transformations, and inference pipelines Working knowledge of Vertex AI Pipelines, Kubeflow, or other cloud-native pipeline tools Data engineering experience, especially with Dataform or equivalent tools Prior leadership experience or formal mentorship of engineers This is a dev-lead role; not suitable for IC-only profilesleadershipmentorshipcollaboration PythonGCP Vertex AIBig Query
