Software Engineer (C++, Python, and JavaScript)

Overview In this role you will develop software and APIs to support analytic functions at a Springfield, VA customer site. You’ll work with the technical team to design, test, deploy, and maintain solutions in an Agile setting, emphasizing collaboration and customer service. You will tackle fast-paced, multidisciplinary challenges and contribute to enterprise-scale systems in the AI/ML domain. This is a hands-on engineering position with a clear impact on project delivery and operational improvements. Responsibilities Develop software solutions by collaborating with stakeholders and analyzing information needs Assess feasibility by evaluating requirements and proposed solutions Estimate timelines and contribute both independently and as part of the team Brief stakeholders by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing issues Improve operations via systems analysis and process recommendations Create software tests and testing strategies to enhance product development Develop scripting solutions to automate manual processes Approach challenges with enthusiasm to craft imaginative solutions to operational problems Key requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM fieldUS citizenship Active Top Secret clearance with SCI + CI-Poly eligibility 4-6+ years designing, coding, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale systems Proficiency in C++, Python, and Java Script Strong analytical skills and ability to visualize processes Experience with brownfield applications Experience with Dev Sec Ops frameworks (e.g., Git Lab, Jira)Experience creating architecture/system and data flow diagrams Experience with containerization/orchestration (Kubernetes, Open Shift)Experience with Linux CLI and scripting (Bash, Python)Experience in Agile environments Excellent communication and presentation skillsexcellent communicationcollaborationproblem-solvingC++Python Java Script
