UI/UX Front End Developer

Overview As a UI/UX Front End Developer on GT’s Innovation Team, you will shape AI-driven web experiences with a strong design mindset and modern front-end engineering. You’ll lead end-to-end UX and frontend architecture for AI chat apps, collaborating with product, backend, and users to deliver accessible, consumer-grade interfaces. You’ll drive design systems, micro-interactions, and scalable frontend solutions deployed across on-premise and cloud environments. This is a hands-on role with impact on product design leadership and technical execution in a fast-paced, innovative setting. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive compensationexcellent benefits packagehybrid work arrangementglobal firm with collaborative environmentopportunity to work on innovative AI solutionsprofessional development opportunities Responsibilities Owns end-to-end user experience across AI chat applications and frontend platforms Designs intuitive, visually polished, accessible interfaces Creates wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma Establishes design systems, component libraries, and visual standards Applies information architecture, interaction design, and content design to usability Conducts user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis Designs micro-interactions, animations, and transitions Translates complex AI/technical workflows into clear UXAdvocates for accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design practices Designs, builds, and maintains React-based front end apps using Type Script and JSTranslates designs into pixel-perfect, responsive code Develops scalable frontend architecture, coding standards, reusable components Integrates with REST APIs and collaborates with backend teams Implements automated testing (unit, integration, e 2e) using Jest/Playwright/Cypress Contributes to CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops Supports deployment across cloud and on-premise environments Evaluates and adopts appropriate frontend frameworks when needed Collaborates with stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories and designs Partners with distributed teams across the US and EU using Microsoft 365, Teams, and Azure Dev Ops Supports ad-hoc UI/UX and frontend initiatives based on priorities Presents design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences Key requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HCI, Design, or related field (or equivalent)Minimum 5+ years frontend development with strong UI/UX responsibility Experience building scalable design systems and component libraries Proven React/Type Script experience from concept to deployment Experience designing AI-powered conversational or chat interfaces Experience with REST APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger Experience with cloud deployment and Dev Ops practices Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design Proficiency in React, Type Script, Java Script, HTML5, CSS3 Experience with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress)Experience with Azure Dev Ops and CI/CDKnowledge of PWAs, Docker, and modern frontend architectures Background in professional services or highly regulated environments preferred Strong communication and presentation skills Collaborative team player across cross-functional teams Creative and detail-oriented with strong design judgment React, Type Script, Java Script (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 Figma, Sketch, Adobe XDJest, Playwright, Cypress
