Senior Principal Consultant, Internal Consulting

Overview In this role, you will lead and shape large-scale, global consulting programs across business and technology, collaborating with senior leaders to design and implement solutions. You will guide cross-functional teams in a matrixed setting to deliver high-impact outcomes and develop compelling executive deliverables. You’ll apply expertise in process optimization, change management, and digital transformation to advance strategic priorities. This is an opportunity to drive meaningful transformation at a global asset manager, contributing to the Internal Consulting practice and working closely with senior stakeholders. Compensation / Benefits Flexible paid time off Hybrid work schedule 401(K) matching of 100% up to 6% with discretionary contributions Health & wellbeing benefits Parental Leave benefits Employee stock purchase plan Responsibilities Lead delivery of large-scale, global programs spanning business and technology domains Partner with senior leaders to assess needs, define solutions, and drive implementation Manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment to ensure high-quality outcomes Develop business cases, future state designs, and implementation roadmaps Provide expertise in business process optimization, change management, and digital transformation Create executive-ready deliverables and presentations Contribute to continuous improvement of the Internal Consulting practice Key requirements 5–7 years of management consulting or internal transformation roles, ideally in financial services (asset management preferred)Proven track record delivering complex programs with both business and technology components Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at the senior executive level Experience leading global, cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)Strategic thinking Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and communication abilities High emotional intelligence and adaptability Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Executive-level presentation tools proficiency (e.g., MS Power Point)Experience across technology, data, regulatory, and strategy domains
