Software Engineer, Backend, Level 5

Overview In this role you will design, implement, and operate highly scalable backend services that power core features like identity, friend graph, and persistence. You will collaborate across teams to translate product needs into robust solutions, emphasize reliability, security, and production readiness, and apply AI-enabled workflows to speed delivery. You’ll work in a fast, privacy‑conscious environment with cross-functional partners to scale systems for hundreds of millions of users.
