Network Engineer (SNR)

Overview As Principal Network Engineer, you lead a high-priority network transformation over 14 months, acting as the primary client-facing techncial expert. You will oversee design, staging, and migration of 1,500 devices to new data centers, shaping secure, scalable connectivity. You’ll coordinate with the project team and stakeholders to validate designs, configure complex networks, and ensure successful cutovers. This role offers meaningful impact through enterprise-level migration and modernization in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Responsibilities Serve as the Primary Engineer and technical lead for the project duration Design and validate go-forward WAN solutions using client templates Lead advanced configuration and firewall rule migrations for security Create and review Method of Procedures (MOP) for configurations and tests Oversee staging and golden image preparation for 1,500 routers and 1,500 Cradlepoint devices Execute migrations including pilot implementations and after-hours support for cutovers Key requirements Enterprise Routing/Switching expertise with troubleshootingWAN & Connectivity experience (MPLS, Internet VPNs, LTE/Cellular backups)Cloud connectivity proficiency (Azure, AWS, Equinix Fabric Connect)Network Security experience (NAT migrations, VPN architecture, firewall policy management)Staging tools experience (mass-device staging, SIM activation, automated scripts)leadershipclient-facing communicationcross-functional collaboration Enterprise Routing/SwitchingMPLSVPNs
