Support Bids and Proposals by estimating engineering labor and material needs. Collaborate with systems engineering and hardware teams to develop sustainable software/hardware resolutions. Plan, design, develop, and test embedded software for processors and systems per standards. Implement or integrate bootloaders, device drivers, applications, and test software. Diagnose and resolve advanced defects with cross-functional teams. Assess customer-reported issues and implement software enhancements to improve usability. Contribute to software design and test documentation and user manuals. Key requirementsU.S. citizenship and active DoD clearance Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related field 8–12+ years in software development with ownership of complex applications/subsystems 5+ years developing software systems and 4+ years in a software project lead role Strong competency in real-time embedded software and computer architecturestrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiescross-functional collaborationcustomer-facing communicationC/C++Linux (Red Hat, LynxOS, Wind River)VxWorks (7.x) and device drivers
