Overview
In this role you will shape and lead Ursa Major’s global Learning & Development strategy to support growth and leadership capability. You will partner with the Leadership Team and People Operations to build a scalable learning culture and talent pipeline across all levels. You’ll design and implement leadership development, succession planning, and career frameworks that enable internal mobility and measurable business impact. This is a strategic, hands-on opportunity to influence how the organization grows its leaders and capability during a rapid scale period.

Responsibilities Define and own the enterprise-wide L&D strategy aligned with business priorities and culture Build scalable leadership development programs for all levels Establish career development and learning frameworks for growth and mobility Identify capability gaps and future workforce needs with leaders and People Ops Lead talent development initiatives: high-potential programs, succession planning, talent reviews, development plans Design manager development programs to boost leadership effectiveness and team performance Own mentorship and development programs, continuously improving effectiveness Maintain a scalable learning curriculum across leadership, professional skills, technical capabilities, and organizational effectiveness Leverage performance, engagement, and talent data to measure impact and opportunities Partner on organizational change and transformation initiatives to build required capabilities Establish learning metrics and ROI reporting Evaluate and implement learning technologies, providers, assessments and tools Facilitate leadership workshops and organizational development initiatives Advise senior leaders on leadership, talent development, and capability Build and coach a high-performing L&D team
Key requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 9+ years of progressive L&D or related experience Experience building and scaling enterprise-wide L&D strategies in high-growth environments Proven track record designing and leading leadership development programs across levels Experience with talent management: succession planning, talent reviews, and high-potential development Ability to partner with senior executives to translate business needs into talent solutions Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills Builder mentality with a hands-on, ownership-driven approachcommunicationfacilitationrelationship-buildinglearning technologiesexternal providersassessments
