Process Improvement Specialist, SSD ACES

Overview In this role you drive site- and region-level improvements in capacity, cost, quality, and customer experience. You will connect the region with the SSD Field Programs team, manage escalations, and lead pilots and improvement initiatives across the network. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor leaders, and translate data into clear narratives for senior leadership. A strong focus on benchmarking, standard-work optimization, and Kaizen-style improvements will shape network-wide performance. This position involves substantial travel (50–80%) and active floor engagement. Compensation / Benefitshealth insurance (medical, dental, vision)401(k) matchingpaid time offparential leaveRSUs/sign-on paymentscomprehensive benefits package Responsibilities Complete monthly benchmarking cycles to identify path improvements at site level Drive KPIs via regional DBR/WBR and provide weekly recaps; support region pilots Lead a quarterly regional improvement project aligned with General Manager priorities Own an annual network improvement project and participate in quarterly SSD ACES process path kaizens Build trust with Operations Managers, Site Leaders, and General Managers in the region Mentor regional leaders and support talent interviewing when possible Spend significant time on the floor auditing, coaching, and collecting frontline feedback Travel regularly within the region to sites and engage leadership on performance and standard work Participate in regional DBRs, WBRs, cost calls to understand gaps and communicate network changes to SSD ACESPartner with Field Programs to drive process path pilots and improvements across the region and network Conduct regular 1:1s with GMs and site leaders, presenting performance, KPIs, and project updates Key requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, or related field Experience in operations, supply chain, transportation, PM, or management consulting Preferred: experience with lean or six sigma methodologies, process mapping and redesign Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects with multiple stakeholdersstrong communication and storytelling for senior leadershipleadership of leaders / mentoringability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environmentlean and six sigma methodologiesprocess mapping and process redesignbenchmarking and data analysis
