Python Developer

Overview In this role you contribute to a defense-focused software capability by developing in Python or Golang and maintaining deployed applications. You will work within an Agile team to integrate data sources, automate deployment, and enhance monitoring and security tooling. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to onboard systems and troubleshoot operational issues. This position offers the challenge of delivering scalable, containerized services in a cloud/enterprise environment and shaping secure, data-driven solutions. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and maintain the deployed application Onboard and manage new users Screen new data sources and technologies to meet program needs Serve as primary contact for data sources/partners Set up technical exchange meetings and catalog data information Understand security restrictions and access requirements Key requirementsUS Citizenship with TS/SCI or clearable Four years of Python or Golang development experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or related field Expertise in scripting (Python, shell scripting)Expertise with Docker and container orchestration (Nomad, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)Proficiency in software development in Python or Golang Experience with Git Lab CI/CDExperience in Agile Scrum development Database administration/development experience with PostgreSQL or similar Experience with networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTPS, TLS)Self-starter Intelligent, proactive, and driven to achieve results Self-motivation Proactive problem solving Team collaboration Linux system administration Scripting (Bash, Python/Golang)Container build tools (Docker, Buildah)
