Job Description Whisky Advocate magazine is seeking a writer and editor, title to be determined based on experience. Here are the qualifications needed:1, Strong lifestyle writer (food, drink, travel) print and/or digital.2. Fundamental knowledge of whisky—ideally from a background in the industry, but personal interest (beyond "I like to drink it" i.e. participationin clubs, tastings, etc.) or experience as a bartender, liquor store associate, etc.3. Motivated/enthusiastic - A creative thinker who can elevate a story to the next level for consumer interest i.e. go beyond a press release, researches and presents a unique/informative perspective. Always seeking new/different angles.4. Hands-on/team player. From CMS to newsletter production, to include content and art.5. Attention to detail, accuracy, deadline-focused, and curious about all things whisky.
