Senior Software Engineer, Ride-Hailing Product

Overview In this role you build and evolve the ride-hailing and delivery backend that powers vehicle control, status streaming, and partner integrations. You’ll work with the On-road Experience team to enable reliable, scalable API-driven experiences for drivers and riders. You’ll tackle real-time data processing and cross-system coordination to deliver seamless product experiences. This is a chance to shape autonomous mobility at scale and partner-driven ecosystems. Compensation / Benefitsannual performance bonusequitycompetitive benefits package Responsibilities Integrate partner APIs to process ride requests and orders Translate user actions into vehicle controls via vehicle integrations Manage real-time vehicle and trip status data Develop and maintain backend services for ride-hailing/delivery workflows Support web/mobile drivers interfaces and related API layers Implement and maintain external partner API integrations (e.g., Uber)Build scalable, performant backend systems and APIs Key requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science 4+ years of relevant work experience Strong proficiency in GoAbility to drive technical standards and best practices End-to-end product development experience from requirements to launch and iteration Cloud platform proficiency with GCP, CloudSQL, Big Query, or Redis Experience in engineering leadership or mentoring junior engineers Proven ability to plan timelines and prioritize across projects Cross-functional collaboration Mentoring and coaching Data-driven decision making GoGCP (Google Cloud Platform)CloudSQL
