Overview
In this role you will lead the organizational training-readiness for Epic implementations and upgrades, ensuring end-user readiness and smooth go-lives. You will partner with clinical, operational, and IT teams to align workflows, coordinate training plans, and drive continuous improvement in training processes. This position offers impact across project lifecycles, from planning through stabilization, within a mission-driven healthcare setting. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape adoption and competency across Epic applications.

Responsibilities Lead training-readiness programs for Epic implementation, upgrades, optimization, go-live planning, stabilization, and ongoing education Serve as liaison with Epic and internal project leadership; coordinate plans, schedules, materials, issue resolution, and reporting Oversee training logistics including enrollment, LMS, environment readiness, attendance tracking, and barrier escalation Collaborate with operational, clinical, revenue cycle, and technical teams to validate workflow alignment and readiness Supervise internal training coordination and end-user support staff; manage SUL onboarding and day-in-the-life activities Coordinate local reinforcement, job aids, workflow communications, competency validation, and post-training support Monitor completion rates, readiness metrics, feedback, adoption risks; drive continuous improvement of readiness and support processes Maintain expertise in Epic training methodology, healthcare tech trends, change management, and priorities
Key requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred (listed as preferred)Minimum 6 years of healthcare training coordination, education operations, clinical informatics, EHR implementation, or related healthcare tech experience Minimum 3 years of management experience (preferred)Epic training certification or proficiency preferred; Project Management Professional preferred Experience coordinating Epic-led training for implementations, go-lives, and optimizations; experience with LMS and integrated workflows preferredleadershipcommunicationinterpersonal collaboration Epic training delivery Learning Management System (LMS) usagetraining logistics and scheduling
