Data Scientist (Gen AI)We are currently seeking a Data Scientist - Hybrid for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, or Plano, TX.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining document capture applications. This role requires a solid background in software engineering with experience in building Machine Learning & NLP Models and a good familiarity with Gen AI Models. Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain document capture applications Utilize Machine Learning and NLP models to enhance application capabilities Work with Gen AI Models to develop innovative solutions Collaborate with inbound correspondence teams on development projects Requirements:7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in related roles Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field Deep understanding and some exposure to new Gen AI Open-source Models At least 5 years of programming experience in software development and Agile processes At least 5 years of Python (or equivalent) programming experience to work with ML/NLP models Experience in setting up supervised & unsupervised learning ML/NLP models including data cleaning, data analytics, feature creation, model selection & ensemble methods, performance metrics & visualization Experience in ML/NLP development pipelines of large data sets, both structured & unstructured At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-scale ML/NLP solutions (e.g.
