Training Manager

Overview In this role you will design, implement, and continuously improve the manufacturing training and workforce development system for a high‑complexity, low‑volume medical device operation. You will align training with quality, safety, regulatory, and operational goals, enabling employees to perform at a high standard. You will partner across functions to drive competency, onboarding, and continuous improvement. Compensation / Benefitsdiscretionary annual bonuscompetitive base salaryopportunity to impact patient outcomesglobal team exposureprofessional development opportunitiesfull-time position Responsibilities Develop and execute the site's manufacturing training and development strategy aligned with objectives and quality requirements Create and maintain a site-wide training framework for production roles and support functions Build and maintain skills matrices, proficiency standards, and requalification criteria Design engaging training content using adult learning principles (curricula, e‑learning, practical exercises, assessments)Establish standardized qualification processes for processes, equipment, and critical operations Assess knowledge, practical skills, and operator proficiency through validated methods Key requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field 3+ years developing training systems, competency programs, and workforce development initiatives Experience in regulated manufacturing (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, aerospace, or similar)Experience creating/managing skills matrices, qualification systems, and onboarding programs Strong project management and change management skills Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions Influence across functions Collaboration Change management Training content development Knowledge assessments and qualification methods Skills matrix management
