Content Creator & Executive Assistant — Nashville

About the Role We are hiring a Content Creator and Exec Assistant to become the right hand person for JR - the Big Orange Tux Guy, healthcare founder, author of My Magic Tux (fastest-selling book in UT Press history), and host of the Super Fan Diaries podcast. This is a rare opportunity: you'll be in the room for podcast recordings, book events, football tailgates, shaping how two growing brands show up online, while also running the calendar and campaigns that make it all happen. For the right person, this role grows into a leadership seat as the brand scales. What You'll DoContent Creation & Editing Capture video of JR at podcast recordings, book events, football events, and day-to-day content moments Edit long-form video for You Tube/podcast (full episodes) and short-form/vertical video (Reels, Tik Tok, Shorts) from the same footage Maintain consistent visual and narrative style across brands Build and execute a recurring content pipeline so posting never depends on last-minute scrambling Social Media Management Own day-to-day management and growth of Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, and Tik Tok across both brands (My Magic Tux and Super Fan Diaries)Post consistently (1–3x/day) and manage community engagement/DMsTrack performance metrics, report on what's working, and recommend optimizations Coordinate with paid media partners on ad creative and targeting where relevant Influencer & Partnership Campaigns Identify and manage relationships with influencers/creators for My Magic Tux and Superfan Diaries campaigns Coordinate deliverables, timelines, and usage rights with influencer partners Track campaign performance and report on reach, engagement, and ROIWebsite Management Own routine website updates (squarespace and shopify) and changes for both brands (content updates, event/appearance listings, product/book links, minor design edits, blogs, weekly podcast changes)Flag larger website needs to the appropriate developer/vendor and coordinate the work Production & Studio Support Be physically present at studio (downtown Nashville) during all podcast recordings to capture content and support production flow Support live events: book signings, football events, etc Scheduling & Coordination Manage JR's calendar and scheduling across both brands Coordinate podcast guest bookings and logistics with publicists and guest teams Serve as a point of contact to keep production, content, campaigns and appearances running on schedule Travel Based in Nashville with flexibility to travel to Knoxville as needed for events as needed (travel costs covered)Schedule This is a salaried, full-time role. Some evenings and weekends are required around events. Qualifications 2 - 4+ years creating content and understanding brand/marketing landscapes Genuine interest in sports, podcasting, and social media Comfortable reading metrics and turning them into recommendations Working knowledge of Meta ad ecosystem and ad spend basics Basic website management skills (e.g., Squarespace, Shopify)Track record of content that grows an audience, not just fills a calendar Fast, clean execution - can take a rough idea and turn it into a finished post/edit quickly Entrepreneurial, "figure it out" attitude - treats hard problems as fun ones Comfortable with a flexible schedule, including some weekends and nights around events/recordings Compensation & Benefits Salary based on experience Full benefits Bonus potential tied to audience growth and engagement metrics you help drive Travel costs covered for Nashville to Knoxville trips
