Senior Instructional Designer - Sales

Overview In this role you will design and deliver learning solutions that enhance commercial capability, expand product knowledge, and boost sales effectiveness. You will partner with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Marketing, and SMEs to close capability gaps and enable frontline teams. You will own onboarding, product training, launches, and ongoing development through engaging formats across eLearning, ILT, and blended experiences. Your work helps ensure consistent market execution and clear value communication at West. Compensation / Benefits Global career opportunities Inclusive & collaborative culture Performance-based bonuses Service recognition Employee appreciation initiatives Responsibilities Identify learning needs and performance gaps with stakeholders Design effective, role-based training for onboarding, product launches, and sales development Create instructional materials (objectives, guides, job aids, assessments)Develop learning across eLearning, instructor-led, virtual, blended, and scenario-based formats Translate complex content into practical training and support launch readiness with certification tools Manage LMS content and measure training effectiveness to improve outcomes Key requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design, sales training, product training, or related L&D work Experience designing learning for adult learners in corporate, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments Experience supporting sales or customer-facing audiences (preferred)Strong collaboration and facilitation skills Excellent communication abilities Stakeholder management and presentation skills Experience with eLearning authoring tools (Easy Generator & Articulate preferred)Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles Ability to use LMS data, assessments, and learner feedback to measure effectiveness
