Overview
In this role you will design and execute consumer research to uncover evolving tastes and attitudes across food and beverage categories, partnering with marketing, innovation and customer experience teams. You’ll blend traditional methods with AI-driven tools to generate actionable insights that shape product ideas and client engagement. You will craft compelling narrative reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed insights into strategy. This position offers growth in research skills and exposure to AI-enabled workflows within a global consumer-centric company.

Responsibilities Design and run qualitative and quantitative consumer research projects (usage, attitudes, concept tests)Draft briefs, questionnaires, guides and survey instruments Manage external research suppliers from briefing to fieldwork monitoring and review Analyze data and create insights reports and visual storytelling decks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed insights into product and innovation strategy Support integration of generative AI tools to streamline reporting and trend exploration Stay updated on new research tools and best practices Support customer presentations or co-creation sessions as needed Other duties as assigned
Key requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Food Science, or related field 1–3 years in consumer research, insights or marketing analytics (CPG/food & beverage preferred)Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative methods Experience with third-party research vendors Strong analytical mindset and ability to extract insights from data Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Canva, Miro a plus)Familiarity with generative AI tools for research and content generation Excellent written and verbal communication Strong attention to detail, visual thinking and presentation skills Proactive, dependable, organized Willingness to travel domestically at least quarterly (NJ focus)Must reside in one of the contiguous US states Curiosity Collaboration Communication Excel Power Point Tableau
